Inspired by people, stories, authenticity, sports + culture
First generation Filipino-Canadian artist from the York-South Weston area of Toronto. I’m a Political Studies graduate from Queen’s University and I reflect on my identity through inter-generational, culturally focused lenses.
Growing up in a Filipino immigrant household, I was raised on stories of sacrifice, perseverance, and pride in community.
Playing basketball at an early age brought me a shared cultural language that keeps me grounded and connected to the Filipino diaspora to this day.
Through my work, I strive to capture the moments that people return to years later when they remember where it all began.
